Beginners Pilates
These classes are an introduction to the principles of Pilates for all those who have never done Pilates before or for those who have tried a little Pilates but do not feel they understood the basics due to lack of supervision or large group numbers. Usually after 6 weeks or half a term of beginners Pilates you should be ready to progress to improvers. Your class will then become an improvers Pilates class so you do not need to change your class time or day.
Improvers Pilates
These classes are a progression from beginners Pilates exercises and an introduction to the use of Pilates small equipment including the small overball, Pilates magic circle, theraband, foam rollers, baby arcs and large Physio balls. Usually after 6 weeks or half a term of improvers Pilates you should be ready to progress to intermediate Pilates. Your class will then become an intermediate Pilates class so you do not need to change your class time or day.
Intermediate Pilates
These classes are a progression from improvers Pilates exercises towards some of the classical mat repertoire and more exercises using the Pilates small equipment including the small overball, Pilates magic circle, theraband, foam rollers, baby arcs and large Physio balls. The intermediate Pilates programme progresses over several terms before reaching the stage where you are able to perform some of the more advanced Pilates exercises.
Advanced Pilates
These classes are a progression from intermediate Pilates exercises towards the full classical mat repertoire and more advanced exercises using the Pilates small equipment including the small overball, Pilates magic circle, theraband, foam rollers, baby arcs and large Physio balls. The advanced Pilates programme and the full classical mat repertoire is modified at the clinic to take into account different medical conditions within a class to ensure that the exercises are performed safely and effectively.
